Smiling Tree Toys {contest}

Happy Friday Everyone!! Hope your week went well and hope you have a great weekend coming! Today's feature is for a wooden toy shop on Etsy called Smiling Tree Toys. The shop carries everything from simple owl teethers to rockin guitar rattles as shown below! The shop is ran by two parents who LOVE being work-from-home parents! The freedom to plan their daily schedules around play time, story time, and nap time is priceless to them... as it would be to any other parents lucky enough to both work from home! Because the first few years of a little one’s life just fly by, they feel very blessed that they can earn a living while not missing a single moment of their daughter’s daily achievements and discoveries. The couple has oodles of new and different design ideas up their sleeves for the future. Like most small business owners, their minds never stop running. They even keep a small notepad on their nightstand for those “aha!” moments that come to them in the middle of the night! Their big secret: beginning in early 2012, They're taking Smiling Tree to a whole new level! They plan to offer personalized toys and will be adding lots more educational items with numbers, letters, and other fun stuff!!

The item i received for the review process is the guitar rattle below. I was very curious to see what "wooden toys" were really like... and I am so glad this company was my first experience with them! The thought of a baby chewing on wood just made me nervous, but seeing and feeling how smooth this wood was made my worries go away COMPLETELY. I will gladly let our little girl play with this adorable teether/rattle when she is old enough! The item was very well made and really adorable in person! It was exactly like the image and the wood used is flawless just like the craftsmanship! You will NOT be disappointed with these items!
